Ethikkommissionen beurteilen konkrete Forschungsprojekte, insbesondere in der Medizin, vor ihrer Durchführung auf ihre rechtliche und ethische Zulässigkeit. Im Vortrag wird auch die Frage thematisiert, ob angesichts der Zunahme solcher Kommissionen eine Abschiebung gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung auf diese zu verzeichnen ist.
